WARNING!!!: Vista SP2 not compatible with ESET Nod32 Products

Follow the link to the ESET website for a link to their knowledge base article for what you can do if you have already installed Vista SP2. Not an ideal solution (uninstall v4.x and install 3.x). Don't know if you can just uninstall Vista SP2 to fix the problem as article does not say and I am not willing to test.

Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 may conflict with version 4.0 of ESET Smart Security and ESET NOD32 Antivirus. An incompatibily between Service Pack 2 and the 4.0 versions of ESET Smart Security and ESET NOD32 Antivirus can prevent the proper functioning of real-time file-system protection. The ESET icon next to the system clock will turn red if you are experiencing this issue, notifying you that maximum protection is not ensured. An updated build for version 4.0 ESET security products is currently in development and will be released as soon as possible.

George Orwell envisioned a future dominated by a government organization called the Ministry of Love that intrusively monitors the actions of its citizens, political nonsense that spews forth from massive TVs, and songs that are written by computers. Instead we have the Department of Homeland Security, 24-hour cable news in high definition, and T-Pain. Thank God we dodged that bullet.

Using Twitter for Business and Travel

Yet another interesting use of Twitter. I wonder how many more uses people will think of for Twitter.

Travelers, businesses find a timely tool in Twitter

Hotel brands, airlines, airports, destinations and other travel companies are joining the growing Twitter community to not only have their voices heard, but to hear what their customers in the Twitter community are saying about them. The mobile nature of the technology makes it especially attractive to travelers.
Before road warriors and leisure travelers hit the road, more are turning to Twitter to scout their destination. Baltimore, Chicago and Philadelphia tourism officials are active users on the site and use it to offer tips from restaurants to shopping and everything in between.
